Stardust – innumerable scattered stars, as if in a dream. The series comprises bright colors boasting a luster the equal of glass (S-1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13) and matt hues coordinated with earth colors (S-3, 5, 6, and 7). The rich expressiveness of every single tile seen in S-10 and S-11 is the product of a complex glaze recipe in combination with three layers of glaze. It is almost as if one is regarding countless scattered stars. At the start of product development, we scraped the surface of the clay to produce many kinds of unevenness so that the surface would not be monotonous. We repeatedly tested glazes until we arrived at the final colors. In the end, trial and error by the glaze-maker and the factory chief finally resulted in a mosaic tile of uncompromising commitment.

Note:Due to the vitreous glaze used, crazing may develop for S-1, S-2, S-4, S-8, S-9 after installation. Dark color grouting is not recommendable for their installation because it may penetrate into such crazing in the future.
